Our Commitment to You

At TrustPoint901 Notary Services, we are committed to providing professional, reliable, and courteous mobile notary services. We strive to make every appointment efficient, respectful of your time, and compliant with Tennessee law while protecting your privacy and supporting a smooth signing experience.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting, scheduling, or receiving notarial services from TrustPoint901 Notary Services ("TrustPoint901," "we," "our," or "us"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Appointment Requests

Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee an appointment.

Appointments are considered confirmed only after you receive confirmation from TrustPoint901 Notary Services by phone, text message, or email.

Appointment availability is subject to scheduling, travel considerations, and document review.

3. Identification Requirements

Every signer must present a valid, government-issued photo identification that complies with Tennessee notary laws.

Examples include:

• State-issued driver's license

• State-issued identification card

• U.S. Passport

• Military identification (when permitted by law)

• Other identification acceptable under Tennessee law

Expired or unacceptable identification may result in refusal of service.

4. Personal Appearance

Every signer must personally appear before the notary at the time of notarization.

Remote, telephone, or third-party acknowledgments will not be accepted unless specifically authorized under applicable Tennessee law.

5. Document Requirements

Clients are responsible for ensuring that:

• Documents are complete before the appointment.

• All required pages are present.

• Blank spaces are completed unless intentionally left blank.

• The correct notarial certificate is included when required.

TrustPoint901 does not prepare legal documents or determine which notarial act is appropriate.

6. No Legal Advice

TrustPoint901 Notary Services is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

We cannot:

• Explain legal documents.

• Recommend which documents should be signed.

• Select the appropriate notarial act for you when the law requires you to make that choice.

• Provide legal opinions or interpretations.

If legal advice is needed, you should consult a licensed attorney.

7. Right to Refuse Service

TrustPoint901 reserves the right to refuse notarization whenever required or permitted by Tennessee law, including but not limited to:

• Inability to verify identity.

• Incomplete documents.

• Blank documents.

• Suspected fraud.

• Coercion or undue influence.

• Lack of willingness.

• Lack of awareness or mental capacity.

• Illegal or prohibited transactions.

• Requests outside the authority of a Tennessee Notary Public.

8. Fees

Notarial fees are charged in accordance with Tennessee law.

Additional fees may apply for:

• Mobile travel

• After-hours appointments

• Weekend appointments

• Emergency scheduling

• Printing services (if available)

• Extended waiting time

A separate Fee & Travel Policy provides detailed pricing.

9. Payment

Payment is due at the completion of the appointment unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Accepted payment methods include:

• Credit cards

• Debit cards

• Stripe-supported digital payments

• Cash (exact change preferred)

Returned or disputed payments may result in collection efforts or refusal of future services.

10. Travel & Waiting Time

Mobile notary services include travel to the agreed-upon location.

Clients should be ready at the scheduled appointment time.

A reasonable grace period may be provided. If extended waiting time is required, additional fees may apply as outlined in the Fee & Travel Policy.

11. Cancellations & No-Shows

Appointments may be canceled without penalty if sufficient notice is provided.

If the notary has already traveled to the appointment location, applicable travel fees may still be charged.

Clients who fail to appear for a confirmed appointment may be responsible for travel charges and may be required to prepay future appointments.

12. Delays

TrustPoint901 is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Traffic

• Severe weather

• Vehicle emergencies

• Public emergencies

• Circumstances beyond reasonable control

If a delay occurs, every effort will be made to notify the client promptly.

13. Limitation of Liability

TrustPoint901 Notary Services is responsible only for the proper performance of authorized notarial acts.

We are not responsible for:

• The legal validity of documents.

• The accuracy or completeness of document contents.

• Decisions made based on notarized documents.

• Losses resulting from information supplied by clients.

14. Privacy

Client information is handled with care and used only as necessary to provide requested services and comply with applicable laws.

15. Changes to These Terms

TrustPoint901 reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website and will apply to future appointments.
